She made me sound a little nutty - I am not ACTUALLY sure if it is a custom in South Africa to hit bluebottles with thongs - it releases a lot of tension and is great fun! Bluebottles are dangerous anyway! As for randomly chatting to a very attractive English man; we were talking business and shop displays! :)
