I am listening to FixYou which really can move me to tears! I really don't believe anyone can guide me home or fix me, I believe that it's up to me to do that; but I think I connect with this song because of its lyrics:

Sigh! This makes me think of all the people who I love like Grace and Narcheska especially who are far away... even though Richard Bach has written a book called There is no such place as far away with the message that we are here for each other an even if it feels far! Awww
So my weekend was once again, all about buying as many books as we could (Pops and I!) before the big event which is now next Saturday! (One week to go!) I need to decorate the window, sort out books to discount, shelve books, price everything, buy biscuits and cordial - just basically get it all ready!
I had dinner at Nick's last night and managed one plate of the all you can eat special; full of steak, lamb skewers, sausages, chicken and chips as well as sharing a cocktail jug of pimms and just had a really great meal and fun night! We have decided that pimms is a truth cocktail because we all shared and discussed and revealed all these things about ourselves, we are mutual friends but not really good friends and all six of us really connected! We talked about taking risks and relationships and feelings... What on earth is in Pimms???
I bought a whole lot of books some are classics and also some books by Dr Karl, Dr Harry Cooper and Katrina Warren - who are fantastic vets and have books on advice for pet owners and then I bought all the booker prize winning books I could find and the generic best sellers - purely with Christmas in July in mind! Luckily it was Sunday so all the books were half price so it was very worth the energy and lifting and effort which was involved!
I was exhausted from my week of work and a late Sat night so...
I walked to work this morn because my car is getting panelled and primped and preened so got a coffee and a hug from Rosie on the way in...
And now it's time to sort out the shop and my week, I have a business session and a publishing event as well as the usual meeting friends and catching up!
