between silk and cyanide ...

I started reading this book this morning and I love his humour. His dad is an antiquarian bookseller and he is an only child and he gets involved in cracking codes during the second World War. He is funny and clever and thinks beyond the loopholes and loves poetry and this book seems very funny, entertaining and an insight into a brilliant mind...
I think I need to take more pics of the shop... I like this one though; I have a thing for the window and window display!
In fact I want to remove the entire thing and have a clear view into the shop and its contents. Then people can see the great books, the stationary, the cards, the kids stuff and just come in and buy away...
It's a long weekend this weekend and a big Jewish holiday and I plan to spend some of it literally moving shelves around and stocking up. When I say plan, I mean plan because if the weekend is sunny like this and I have a full two days of it, I might veg and dress in a mini and head to Bondi and just read, chill, eat, enjoy the sun and not bother with shelves at all!
Thanks sis am glad you enjoyed the hangman game on the right! I figured that I am so worked up about literacy and education; that I may as well insert something along those lines on my blog. I would love to start a reading and literacy programme but I'm in the wrong country for it, education is good here. I should be in Joburg...
Once again, the weather seems to influence buying because it's so good, that I am sure people are in the parks and at the beaches (I'm talking yummy mummys and babies here); sometimes I feel like nobody else works because when I need to take off and go somewhere places of full of people chilling and eating/drinking in cafes or wandering about.
